A consultant by trade, I’ve had roles all over the US (Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Los Angeles), and have also lived in Sydney, Australia and Lilongwe, Malawi. In addition to extensive travel for work I have been to over 60 countries exploring the best restaurants, experiences and hotels.

Additionally, while I can can certainly help you plan trips one at a time, I’m also a certified Wanderlist travel advisor. Dream Trip Planning
It all starts with a conversation. We’ll ask for 20 minutes of your time (usually by phone) so we can get to know each other. Our collaboration starts by talking about your travel desires, your interests and anything else that might help us to create your perfect vacation. At the end of the conversation, we’ll check our understanding, so we’re all on the same page before we start our research

Personalized Itinerary
In our research, we’ll combine what we’ve learned about you with our expertise, taking in consideration the match between your personality and that of the destination(s), tours or accommodations. We’ll look at pricing, availability and more. When we talk again, we won’t overwhelm you with a huge list of options. By then, we’ll have reviewed many options and removed those less suitable for you. At the end of this phase you’ll have an itinerary in hand for your trip.

Seamless Booking and Logistics
Ready to move ahead? We’ll collect additional information (personal data for all travelers, etc.), payment for deposits and applicable trip planning fees to book your vacation’s main elements, typically airfare, hotel package or guided tour. Next, we’ll fine-tune your vacation, by offering you the option to add dining, special experiences and excursions, travel insurance, etc.

Bon Voyage!
About four weeks before your vacation, we’ll review all elements of your vacation that we’ve arranged for you and then they’ll be provided for you in an app so you have all the info/addresses/confirmations you need at your fingertips. We’ll check in with you a few days before departure to make sure you have everything you need, to answer any last minute questions and to wish you “bon voyage”. Should you need us while you’re traveling, we’ll be there for you, but otherwise our next communication will be a few days after your return.

Amazing honeymoon trip
Abby did a wonderful job helping us plan our stay in Cabo San Lucas for our honeymoon. She recommended a few options that suited our style and budget, and we ultimately chose The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, which ended up being perfect for us. Due to a COVID spike back in August 2021, we we worried about traveling out of the country, so Abby worked her magic in asking the hotel to let us change our dates without penalty even though we had originally booked the cheaper, non-refundable rate. When we arrived at the hotel in Cabo, there was a personalized note from Abby and nice bottle of tequila waiting for us in our room! Abby's attention to detail and strong relationships with the hotel properties are must-haves when it comes to working with a great travel advisor!

What a great resource!
Abby is always so wonderful and so very helpful. We’ve used Abby’s services in the past to plan international trips but this was our first time using her to plan a quick domestic getaway. She found us the most wonderful and central hotel with a lot of added perks that we wouldn’t have been able to have access to without her.
